Leeco Steel acquires Titan Steel

Steel plate supplier Leeco Steel has acquired Alvarado, Texas-based Titan Steel, a steel plate processor offering plasma and oxyfuel cutting and machining. The acquisition expands the company’s processing capabilities, which now include milling services in addition to plasma and oxyfuel cutting, drilling, tapping, beveling, chamfering, shot blasting, and parts cleaning.

Leeco retains Titan Steel’s entire staff; its Alvarado facility, rebranded as Leeco Steel’s Alvarado processing plant; and its steel plate cutting, drilling, and milling machines.

To support business growth from the new processing location, the company has created a sales division dedicated to serving customers in the energy transmission and distribution industry.
